Pillows

After years of collecting oil paintings from markets across Holland and Belgium, some pieces have become just too perfectly perfect to sacrifice for a one of a kind bag or chair. The paintings on these charming pillows were selected from the paintings within my collection. Each image has been photographed and faithfully reproduced on linen/cotton fabric. The plan became to make reproductions of my favorites on sturdy canvas, and to preserve not just the faces and fine brush strokes, but also the rough edges, fringe and corners of the canvas too..
